Oncology: Lung Cancer Clinical Trials
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will provide clinical research professionals an introduction to the lung cancer disease process and overview of treatment methods. Lung cancer clinical trial case scenarios and valuable research tips are incorporated into the training. Also discussed will be: disease staging, performance status, RECIST (Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors), adverse event reporting (CTCAE) and QOLs (quality of life instruments).
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Those clinical research professionals who are new to the lung cancer therapeutic area or those seeking a comprehensive refresher. Clinical research associates (CRAs), clinical research coordinators (CRCs), project managers, clinical data managers, regulatory affairs professionals, statisticians will gain knowledge from participating in this course.
